HEC’s Policy Guidelines for the Implementation of Uniform Semester System shall also be applicable to Level-8 programs for credit transfer of coursework from one university to another, students’ assessment, awards of grades, etc. |

The transfer of research work is permissible, provided that the host university accepts the research conducted at the parent university prior to the credit transfer. |

A scholar enrolled in PhD in any HEC recognized universities may request for credit transfer and migration to this University by submitting an application with said subject to the Registrar office. |

The request shall accompany with certificate of course work credit gained from Controller of Examinations of the parent University, no objection certificate from the registrar of the parent University stating that the scholar is allowed for consideration of possible credit transfer and migration to this University. |

The Registrar office, after making scrutiny of the request and other necessary procedures, forwards the case to the concerned departments DAC through Faculty Dean and Chairperson of DAC for formal evaluation and credit accreditation as per requirements of the concerned department. |

The DAC shall evaluate the case for possible number of credits transfer and migration by considering scholar’s number of credits gained and possible accreditation of those credits as per approved course work credits of this University in both categories, i.e., core credits and elective credits. |

23.7 |
The DAC shall then furnish a detailed report (within 10 days of the receipt of the case) on accredited core and elective credits with a recommendation of number of credit transfer and migration with suggested semester and courses for the migrant. |

The report shall be forwarded to Registrar office for further action as per rules. |

23.9 |
The Registrar office shall provide the original documents along with original migration certificate to the scholar and keep photocopies of all documents in the record of university. |
